~MY INTERVIEW WITH ACTOR MAX DECKER~

Thank you and Welcome Max! Can you tell us what you have been doing since we last saw you as Carlos Reyes on All My Children?

Since All my Children I have been acting and running my acting studio. I have done 17 guest stars on TV from North Shore with Jason Momoa to being opposite LL Cool J on NCIS LA. I have two movies on Amazon Prime both Horror films. John Burrs Muse and the new Bigfoot Horror Thriller film Hoax with Brian Thompson and Disney’s Hutch Dano.

Have you kept in touch with any former castmates?

I haven’t kept in touch with anyone from the cast, I have run into Will DeVry on set recently when I ran into him on GH set and we caught up for a couple minutes.

If you were ever to bring Carlos Reyes back, what would you like to see?

Oh man!  If I ever got to play Carlos again I would like to him comeback as a broken jaded man who’s gone through a rough path from being on the run from the mob.

Would you ever consider doing a soap?

I really would like to work with William DeVry and Maurice Bernard also Kelly Monaco. Those guys are solid. They tried finding a place for me on Days of Our live with a couple small roles but I think it wasn’t the right timing. But the show that I would love to work on is General Hospital.

What are you working on that you can tell us about?

Right now I just finished a film that was produced by James Franco’s production company that’s a readaption of The Count of Monte Cristo. I get to play one of the main antagonist that sends the lead character away.

What is your dream project?

Dream projects that I have is working on rewriting Fight Club in a play format to start putting up as my studio for performances for people to see. I d like to have an attempt at a run on GH if they would give me the opportunity that would be a dream.

Thank you for again for joining me!

Thank you Lisa!

~~~MY INTERVIEW WITH JEN LILLEY~~~~
                                        MY INTERVIEW WITH JEN LILLEY
                                         (EX-THERESA DONOVAN BLACK)
                                                          PHOTO BY BRAD EVERETT YOUNG
I just watched today's and it was pretty epic. Congrats!
When you saw the scripts leading to your exit, what do you think? I was so overwhelmed by the exit.  It's EXCELLENT.  I think it's some of the smartest writing I've ever seen.  It's tragic and classic, a true modern day version of Romeo and Juliet.  Some fans have found it to be unbelievable, but if they understood how dangerous certain mafias and cartel leaders are, they would realize it is VERY believable.  I am so grateful Theresa went out like a hero.  She went out fully developed, with a full arch.  It was beautiful and selfless, and I think they tied so many lose ends up in a full and perfect bow.  It's flawless.
Would you ever do daytime again?
 I would happily return to Days of Our Lives on a recurring basis.  That's my family.  I'd go back recurring tomorrow if they'd have me.
Have to ever been "star struck"?
 Absolutely.  After I did The Artist, I got to go to Weinstein's Oscar party, and I saw Meryl Streep.  It took me 45 minutes to muster up the courage to say hello to her.  She was incredibly gracious and kind.  I made her cry (happy tears)...but that could have just been a performance.  She's THAT good.  That same night, I saw Tony Bennett perform for the private party.  I started crying. I love him so much.  I called my mom in the car on the way home and told her if I died now, my life would be complete.  She was horrified.  haha, but seriously.  Can you ask for more?
"Its Tinsel Time" again...any plans for another Christmas CD or regular?
 I'm currently selling Tinsel Time again on my website and itunes and all other digital platforms.  I will definitely do another Christmas CD in the future, just not this year.  I'm currently working on a regular album, but I don't want to give any details on that yet.
Congrats on being a foster parent!!! I'm so happy for you. Can you tell us what led to this decision?
That's a LONG story.  And something to do a complete article on.  But in short, I have found the foster care system in the United States to be a road paved with good intentions, but leading to hell.  It's the most broken system in the U.S.  And I figure, none of us can take on the world, but if we do our part, and do what we have the power to change, we do actually change the world.  So Jason and I became foster parents to change a foster kids experience. So many foster homes are horrible, dangerous places.  Ours is happy, safe, and full of love.  We're doing our part to love on abused, neglected, and at risk children.  And our love will have a ripple effect.  (seriously, we can chat more about it, but on phone.  I could never type fast enough).
Any other projects in the works?
Yes! I've shot 3 movies and 2 TV shows since I left Days in June.  And on Saturday, I fly to Vancouver to shoot another movie.  I'm the lead in a Romantic Comedy :) More details on that later.
The others are
Mommy, I Didn't Do It premiering on Lifetime Jan 1
Galileo (in post production)
The Wedding Do Over (in post production)
Grey's Anatomy (aired in October)
Encounter (a new original series for Pureflix) that is available on their website.
~TALK TO ME THURSDAY-SEPTEMBER 3, 2015 *SPECIAL EDITION*
                                         MY INTERVIEW WITH HOLLY GAGNIER
                                          (EX-CASSIE CALLISON, OLTL, JENNIFER SMITH, GH)
                       Welcome to the Spiel, Holly!!
                       What was your experience at GH like?
My GH gig was FAST, way too fast!!! I got the role the night before, and the next day I was at work. There were conversations with casting, and the writers regarding the direction they wanted the character to go in. I didn't sleep a lot that night, was up learning lines and trying to do a little research on the back story.
When I did get to work the next day, Frank Valentini, who knew me from OLTL saw that I was now blond. he said "no way, we need your hair BLACK!'. So it was off to hair where they put black colored mousse in my hair to make it dark, wardrobe found me the BEST Jennifer clothing and we kind of all created this very funny, edgy, trampy character!! It really was a collaboration.
When I finally met Tony and Genie, they could not have been more lovely. We worked and practiced and they made sure I was comfortable. There really isn't a heck of a lot of time in daytime to prepare, and I had even less time than most. Everyone was incredibly supportive, I saw some old friends and I truly felt at home. That really surprised me, because having not stepped foot on a soap stage in 20 years, i was expecting it to be far more terrifying!!
When that first day was over I was so bummed. It goes by so quickly, I wanted to be able to have another stab at my scenes!!
                       Thoughts on the cancellation of AMC/OLTL
Any time a show gets cancelled, and you have that many people out of a job its devastating. seeing so many shows give way to reality, and talk shows is pretty rough. Especially since some of the acting in daytime is as good as you will see. When you see the scenes between Tony and Jonathan Jackson, you will be blown away, and those were shot in ONE TAKE. Daytime is incredibly hard, and when you see people like Robin Strasser, Erika Slezak, Kim Zimmer and Susan Lucci, David Canary...the list just goes on and on, day in and day out so EXTRAORDINARY work, its sad to see it go. Sad for the fans too!
                       What are you currently working on?
I currently am in a play in Los Angeles. I teach acting at a well-known acting school in-between jobs, and you always find me popping up in something. Now that my daughter is older I would LOVE to be back on a soap!!! I took time off to raise her.
                       What is your challenging role to date?
I have had many challenging roles. Crazy enough the most difficult one I did was a CD rom called Wing Commander IV. It was REALLY hard because you had to live out ALL the various scenarios of the game take after take. So one take your partner is killed, one take he lives. I was the master mind of the tech portion of the ship, LOTS of memorization and it took several months to shoot.
                      What is your fave thing to do when not working?
When I am not working I am always with my daughter. I also enjoy gardening and working on my house. I am a REAL DIY person!!! I also spend a significant amount of time with my siblings and their families. I am very lucky we all live in L.A..
                       What advice would you give to up and coming actors?
Advice??? Oh man, if there's anything else you THINK you might like better than acting go do that instead! hahaha Actually work hard, the journey is as important as the actual work you procure.
                       What actors have you never worked with, but would like to?
I would LOVE to have the opportunity to work with Eric Braeden, Kin Shriner and Justin Deas, I think Jane Elliot and I could REALLY go after each other hahaha. Tony was on that list, so I at east got one in there!
Those guys are amazeballs in the daytime world......Other than that Robert Duvall, Anthony Hopkins and Diane Keaton would be IT for me.
                       What made you become an actor?
My father was a cinematographer. In fact he was Donna Mills DP on Knots Landing ( so it was great to run into her as well). I did my first commercial at 3 years old for Mattel. I was also a professional dancer, I did all of my own dancing in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Dance led to many roles for me which ended up with me acting and training full time.
Thanks for the interview. I would love for Jennifer to make more trouble in Port Charles, if the fans would continue to voice their support, that would be great!
                        I agree!! Tweet GH, write. Do whatever you have to. Let's see Holly and Jennifer back                         on GH! Thanks for being here Holly!!
